Dr. Andy Yuan completed his 7-years medical education with a specialization in acupuncture at Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He acquired a Master’s degree in medicine, majoring in Acupuncture. He is licensed in China as a medical doctor specialized in acupuncture since 2007. He is also licensed in Nigeria as an alternative medical practitioner in 2017 by Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria. He is the first officially registered and licensed Chinese doctor by the Nigerian government, which was not easy to achieve. Before establishing Eastern and Western Hospital (Formerly known as CNT medicare), Dr. Yuan served in an international medical and pharmaceutical company in China, Russia and South Africa, and was appointed to Nigeria in 2013. In 2016, Dr. Yuan established CNT MEDICARE, now Eastern Western Hospital, an integrative medical clinic, which combines Chinese natural therapy and orthodox medicine for better cure. Dr. Yuan has over 10 years of clinical experience. His main field is orthopedic disorders such as cervical spine disorders, lumbar spondylosis, herniated intervertebral disc (HIVD), knee arthritis, shoulder arthritis.
